NO MAGAZINES AT HOME BUT IN NEED OF INTERIOR MAGAZINES? YOU CAN BUY THEM ONLINE

Sometimes, when I've realized on a Sunday afternoon that I have an ugly house and need to restyle it immediately, I suddenly have a huge need for a lot of new interior magazines. Which I then don't have. Because yes, I don't have a magazine store nearby that is open on Sundays. Okay. Maybe you do, and that's great for you, but the AVERAGE person doesn't. Although I'm actually not an average person. Mm. I'm stumbling here. But anyway. Long story short: at such a moment, I like to buy a digital copy, via Zinio for example.

These are my five favorite digital interior magazines.

1. The leader of the list is the Spanish Architectural Digest. Very creative, cool, cheerful, and vintage. I think they were about the first with Maison Jansen palm trees and bamboo benches from the fifties. And yes, it is a Spanish magazine. I'm not going to claim here that I speak or read Spanish, but looking at pictures... what's wrong with that?

2. The Australian Vogue Living I always find extremely nice and covetable. Often has a wonderfully chic atmosphere and is simultaneously creative, cultural, artistic, and vintage. The latest edition, for example, focuses on the work and career of the glamorous seventies/eighties designer Willy Rizzo. The man who breathes brass and gold. Okay, not really, but you get it.

3. Milk Decoration is a French magazine that you want to eat. Yes, I can't make it any other way. It's very designy, in-crowd, and trend-predicting. And printed on beautifully thick, white, and finely scented paper. Every edition is a keepsake. They also regularly feature cool Dutch design. However, the best part is that it often revolves around family interiors. And that, dear people, is what I want. A thoughtful, cool, exciting, and at the same time sensible family interior where each of us feels good. And I'm referring to my two kids and The Man. And of course, myself. Gosh, I almost forgot about myself.

4. ELLE DECORATION, and then the English (because oh so fresh), South African (because oh so cultural), and Dutch edition (because oh so boho and on trend). All love! Very much love!

5. Marie Claire Maison, because an elegant mix of um, elegant and practical. Never over the top, actually always classy, and at the same time innovative. I find that impressive.
