OLYMPIC CAIPIRINHA RECIPE
Braziiiiil, la la la la la la la laaaaa. The weather is nice and we are in the Brazilian state of mind, all the more reason to dive into the kitchen to make a fresh Caipirinha. It's delicious to drink, but it also keeps you awake for the Olympic Games. I mean: Dafne (she was back to her old self today) runs on Thursday night at half past three and you can definitely use this cocktail as a stay-awake drink. How do you make it? Like this:
Ingredients
(for 4 people)
12 ice cubes
1 lime
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
60 ml white rum
Crush the ice cubes or use a blender. Cut 8 wedges from the lime. Use 2 plus half a scoop of sugar per glass and crush it all with the back of a wooden spoon. Of course, on a professional muddler. Add the rum (15 ml per glass, or more, ahem) and top it off with the ice. Saúde!
