Live and kicking! This is what’s been keeping Bo busy this past week!

New York covered in snow was so beautiful. For a slight instant I thought winter had finally kicked in. But alas, it was gone before I knew it. Blue turned from a lover of snow into a muddy monster. The snow melted and the crispy white color made way for slushy black junk. A few days after I found myself wearing a mini skirt with over the knee boots, instead of wrapped up in a multitude of layers, hanging out outside of Dior. I was shooting pictures for my blog and it felt like spring in February which is great, but I can’t help but be a little bit worried about mother nature. Or do we have El Nino to blame? Whatever it is, I miss the winter.

And then there was Groundhog Day. Every terrace in the city was packed with people because the sun was out. And the hog emerged from its burrow to predict whether or not spring will come early. Sounds pretty ridiculous with these temperatures. Especially when I was sitting outside enjoying my Caprese salad.

Oh and before I forget, I was sipping on some Sancerre. The same one I drank with Liesbeth when she was in New York last summer. But this time I am at Sant Ambreous in Soho and not in the West Village. And with Liesbeth, we had two bottles. I decided to stick to one glass this time. Promise to come back sometime soon Liesbeth? I’m ready for another beverage or two with you.

All the Kendall Jenner’s of the world could be found underneath this arch. The famous NOMO SOMO arch. I’ve been here quite often. Drinks with friends or brunches when family came to visit. Kinda crazy that I had never taken a picture of me under the arch before. So here you are. Just like Kendall. Woohoo.

I’ve been spending a lot of time working on my own killer body the last few weeks. 8 weeks to be exact according to Kayla. I’ve started taking part in her bikini body guide and although I think it sounds somewhat pathetic, I’m sold. It’s a tough workout but easy to follow with Kayla’s app and believe me, it really works. And when I say it really works I mean I’m actually starting to build up some muscles in all the right places. Plus, eating pasta and deserts helps in the process too. So a win-win situation if you ask me. On this photo you can see mee ‘Kayla-ing’ in my new favorite workout top from ADAY. I love this brand. Most probably my newest obsession for workout gear.

Who hasn’t heard of this couple? His name is Murad, her name is Nataly and together they made this pose famous (which has now been replicated by dozens of people unfortunately). Guess who got to meet them? On the 101ste floor of the Freedom Tower.

The view! I have taken hundreds of snapchat videos and photos of this view. It is impeccable. Sipping on a mega chic cocktail which cost me a fortune. Enter Murad and Nataly. Look at them. Good looking, but a little shorter than I expected them to be.

This past weekend my future hubby and I spent the entire weekend together. To do groceries in Uptown. While we stroll past all the discounts at Bergdorf’s…

I couldn’t help but take a quick peek at Chanel. How cute were these books?

Alright and now it’s time for some of this. Sun. Sea. Beach. Laying out on the beach on a tropical paradise called Vieques. More about that next week.

What our dear Bo is up to in New York this week? You can read it here!

The snow was so beautiful. For a slight instant I thought winter had finally kicked in. But alas, it was gone before I knew it. Blue turned from a lover of snow into a muddy monster. The snow melted and the crispy white color made way for slushy black junk. A few days later I found myself wearing a mini skirt with over the knee boots, instead of wrapped up in a multitude of layers, hanging out outside of Dior. In Soho I quickly shot this ensemble for my blog, and it’s lovely, that spring in February, but I can’t help but be a little worried about our planet. Or is it El Nino’s fault and will we have Antarctic scenes again next year? I hope not. I miss winter after all.

And on Groundhog Day, the day of the oracle groundhog, it got even crazier. Outside. On the terrace. In the sun? The groundhog is really right. Every year the famous little creature appears on TV and all of America waits in suspense for what it will predict. A groundhog predicting spring. And the whole nation is captivated by it. Hilarious. Especially last year. Because then the groundhog suddenly hung with both incisors in the earlobe of the mayor. Fortunately, the rodent didn’t do that this year for the very nice man. However, the animal predicted a very early spring. And, I can hardly help but believe the groundhog. I’m sitting outside with a caprese salad. In the sun. And before anyone can touch the plates, a photo must be taken. And this is what it looks like.

Oh yes, I’m drinking Sancerre again. The same one that Liesbeth and I drank last summer, only at Sant Ambroeus in Soho. Not this one in West Village. And back then it was two bottles. Not a neat single glass. Are you coming back soon, Lies? Let’s go wine again.

The Kendall Jenners of today were all under this arch. The famous arch of NOMO SOMO. I’ve been here often. Drinks with friends to extensive brunches with visitors from the Netherlands. Strangely enough, I had never taken a picture under the arch. So here it is. I have one too. Just like Kendall. Yes.

I’ve been working out hard for weeks. According to Kayla exactly 8 weeks. I’m following the bikini body guide. And although I find that a bit pretentious, I’m sold. It remains challenging, super easy to keep up with Kayla’s app and it really works. And by that I mean that it’s exactly building the muscles where I want them. Plus, to not become too skinny, I can also have more pasta, more desserts, and more fries. In other words, a win-win situation. Here I am again ‘Kayla-ing’ in my new favorite top from ADAY, a super cool brand. And completely in this amazing gym at home with my friend Marinke. And I had Dutch braids, my new obsession.

Who hasn’t heard of this couple? His name is Murad, her name is Nataly and together they made this (incredibly annoying to copy) pose famous on Instagram. By the way, I think theirs is fantastic. And: I’m going to meet them. On the 101st floor of the Freedom Tower.

This view! I’ve taken hundreds of Snapchat videos and phone photos of it. It’s so beautiful! Luckily, I’m putting my phone aside for a moment. Sipping on my mega chic cocktail and feeling fortunate. I have a moment of realization. And it’s good to have those from time to time. But before the present fashion posse (Beyoncé’s stylist and such) notices my apathetic stare out the window, I’m shaken awake. Murad and Nataly come in. Look at them standing there. Good looking and a bit shorter than I expected.

This weekend my future husband and I are together again. For groceries (and the sale) we’re going Uptown. As I stroll across, yes, that’s what you get from Bergdorf’s sale affairs.

Just a quick peek at Chanel. And I found these books so cute.

So, and now this. Sun. Sea. Beach. I’m going to bake and fry in the paradise called Vieques. More about that next week.
