Travel & Hotspots

What our girl Bo has been up to in New York this past week? Check it out here!

Monday’s are for working with XL sized cappuccino’s, a Sex Me Up (also in XL which is always fun to order) and a short chat with the juice guy at Joe’s. But I didn’t last too long because the temperature is still tropical and the thermometer at a high. I drop by my friend J’s place for a drink and to play with her baby. I brought her roses. I exchanged Soho for Meatpacking. And then I bid farewell to Monday.

Working on the tush and abs is still very much happening with the guidance of Darcy. My personal trainer, as well as new friend, from Skillful Touch drills me in Madison Park. I’ve been working with Darcy for a couple of months now and I’m starting to notice a change. The injuries I had (due to all those sport apps and going to the gym but not really knowing what I was doing) have disappeared and I can see my abs getting more toned and my legs getting longer. And those are all signs that I’m headed the right direction. On my way to my goal: the first fitting of THE dress…

Because it’s in! Just like our ‘Save the date’. We came up with them and designed them together with ‘our’ Lotte and the very talented Milou Neelen. I’m so proud. The card landed on everyone’s doorstep and now suddenly everything is becoming real. We’re getting married, with a lot of love from all of our friends and at least 1000 flowers… Only 10 months to go.

If you’re ever in the Little Italy neighborhood, drop by Seamore’s. Even when it feels like 40 degrees out, I drag my hubby to be through the city. Because this place was on my wish list. Hearts on the walls and fish on the menu. That’s what Seamore’s is. And it all tastes so good. I don’t have any photo’s of the tuna taco’s (that’s how good it was) but believe me: order it!

Another place you don’t want to miss out on. On the other side of the water and almost underneath the Brooklyn Bridge you’ll find Miss Favela. It’ll feel like you ended up in Rio. The food, the band, the interior and most of all the strawberry caipirinha’s transform this part of Brooklyn into Brazil, and I love it. This is definitely the place to hang out in the weekend with a couple of drinks while enjoying the tropical vibe…

And last but never least, a couple of photos of Blue. My fluff ball just keeps on growing. So cute, right? See you guys on the gram? xxx
