PRESSURE IN YOUR HEAD? DO THIS
Is your head full of to-do lists, appointments that you actually have no time for, do you have some worries here and there and feel sluggish and therefore anything but energetic? Then you need a vacation! Just kidding, even without a vacation there are tricks to get a bit more peace in your “headspace”. I'm here to help you.
- Express what makes your head so full. Just talking about it helps a lot.
- Write everything down. Don't use your head as a to-do list. And grab a marker. Nothing is more satisfying than crossing things off.
- Put at the top of the list what is a priority and spread the other tasks over different days. Don't make the list too long, because that's not achievable and then your head will just explode even more “because you can't get to everything”. So break those tasks down.
- Aha, your phone can be off for a while. Trust me, you won't miss anything.
- Ask someone to help you with a task. It takes less time and it's more fun too. Come on, get into that pigsty of a closet!
- You have to move, according to me. Even if you're exhausted. If you want order in your head, you MUST move. No matter how busy you are.
