Celine Brinkgreve is not only exceptionally beautiful (you've already seen that), but also incredibly kind and talented. She has the sports label Deblon Sports, so we always look sexy and feminine in the gym, forest, on the yoga mat, or just in the supermarket. Fortunately, Celine also has human traits that she is now going to tell you all about...

What is your most used excuse?

‘I lived in Brazilië and there they don't take time too seriously. Whether you're half an hour or an hour late doesn't matter at all. As long as you come, they're already happy. Back in the Netherlands, I had to get used to the punctuality here. My boyfriend is always very punctual, even early. Especially at the beginning of our relationship, my Brazilian ‘being late’ didn't always go down well.

“Sorry I'm so late, but I was already halfway here when I realized my phone was still at home,” I've heard myself say that quite often.’

Which movie, TV show, or series makes you cry every time?

‘I don't often catch myself in tears when I'm sitting in front of the television. I'm now four months pregnant and it's certainly true that pregnant women can unexpectedly become very emotional. Just the other day, I was sobbing on the couch, tears rolling down my cheeks. And no, not even because of a beautiful movie, but just because of the beautiful voices and the genuinely sweet interactions of the kids on The Voice Kids.’

Your ultimate guilty pleasure?

‘I have a huge passion for beautiful jewelry. With my first salary as a 17-year-old model, I bought a very special pair of Chanel earrings at the Chanel store in Honolulu, Hawaii. When I'm in Brazil for Deblon Sports, I have a few regular jewelers I visit for inspiration. I can come up with a special occasion to justify buying those beautiful gold earrings, that ring, or that bracelet very well. I already have something very beautiful ready for the birth of my son. I can't wait.’

Which bad music can you secretly enjoy immensely?

‘As soon as there's a Latin sound in a song, I feel like dancing. I get very happy when the song Chorando Se Foi by Kaoma, also known as the Lambada, is played.’

What is your secret hobby?

‘I love organizing trips and vacations. I can spend hours and hours searching for the most beautiful and preferably non-touristy boutique hotels and original spots.’

And your strangest trait?

‘My strangest trait is taking my pillow wherever I go or stand. To be able to sleep well outside, I can actually forget everything. As long as I have my pillow with me, I feel good.’

What would people really not expect from you?

‘I can eat a lot and often can't control myself. Because I've always had a very athletic body and have appeared four times on the cover of Women's Health as a model, people expect me to have a drastic eating pattern. I know how to eat healthily, but what truly makes me happy are exquisite, not necessarily healthy meals. The traditional French, Belgian, or Italian cuisine? Mmm, heavenly!’

What is your biggest pointless irritation?

‘Because Deblon Sports does business with Brazil, there are often things happening overseas that we can't change from the Netherlands. Yet, I catch myself a bit too often cursing when something doesn't go as we would expect.

Worrying is pointless, I know that all too well, but still, I'm a huge overthinker.’

Which word do you actually use just a little too often?

‘Ai, ai, ai…’
