Stop the presses: cat wine exists

I think I need to be put on a ventilator. This is downright the best news ever. As a huge cat kid, I share a lot with my little animals, I can tell you, but wine? What a fantastic invention: together with my dear cat at the Pinot Meow.

The American company Apollo Peak (of course this idea comes from America) specializes in the special ‘cat wine’. Don’t worry, I’m not talking about a glass of red or white with alcohol, of course, cookie lam hanging out with your cat is not an option, that would be something. So what is in it? Among other things, a little beet juice for color, water, a bit of catnip and voilà: the Pinot Meow is born. The brew even comes in a cute cat-sized wine bottle. I. Can’t. Handle. This. Guys.

I was already quite grumpy when I read that the cat wine was only available in local stores in Colorado, but there is hope: Apollo Peak has a webshop and so you can just score that wine here. And since my dear Luna cat is having a huge down week now that all her kittens have left the nest have left, it’s time for a night of partying.

Luna, what do you say? Kick Sander out of the house and have a girls night? I’m in.
