DON'T MISS THESE PLACES RECOMMENDED BY SIMONE WHEN IN LONDON

Okay, ladies, as I told you in my introduction video, I have partly left my heart in the city of Leundeun. Gosh, how I love this world city. The people, the Hop-Ons, the Queen, and that little accent.

But my healthy food hotspot list has also been getting longer by the week. I've picked out my gems for you (but also secretly for my colleagues who will shine at LFW next week). Not that they will necessarily go on the Spirulina path, but it's the thought that counts, right?

At number one:

The Good Life Eatery

I told you about that açai bowl in Barcelona, right? Well, you can get it here too. And it's so good! Prefer something savory? The Goodness Bowl is to die for.

Especially if you're a diehard foodie, you must come here for a real raw experience.

Lantana Cafe

That famous soy latte I've been talking about, you can get that here too. Have a slice of zucchini bread with smashed avocado and a poached egg, and you won't want to leave. Okay, maybe to go to the neighbors, because they have everything ‘to go’. Chuckle...

Granger & Co.

I managed to start (with ricotta hotcakes) and end my day here again. Because, girlfriends, they really have the absolute best burrata on the menu. And cheese, huh, Hollandúrrr, then you've got me in your pocket.

Tanya’s Cafe

Especially if you're a diehard foodie, you must come here for a real raw experience. Go for the lasagna, it's almost as delicious as my mother's guilty pleasure (almost, I say, huh). Don't walk out without trying the avocado cheesecake. Oh guys.

Ottolenghi

One of my favorite chefs of all time (and the gems in my bookshelf). Shakshuka signature dish, I won't say more about it. Let's go with that banana.

Joss and Lil, don’t skip this part

CHIA (Camden Market)

When in London, definitely don't skip Camden Market. This busy hippie-like market consists not only of fun clothing stalls, dodgy tattoo shops, and incense-filled dark basements, but also a cozy outdoor dining area. Eighty percent of the food trucks are a bit less healthy (not less tasty by the way), but if you look closely, you'll find the gem CHIA. The guys at CHIA really make the best stuffed flatbread with smashed avo, chicken, and halloumi. You’ll love it.

And then last but not least and far from healthy but definitely an absolute must do (Joss and Lil, don’t skip this part):

GAIL’s Artisan Bakery

The super duper tastiest coffees (soy latte, of course), the even tastier scones, and oh yes, don't forget the cheesecake (skip the metro).

Can I come along?
