Things that go through your mind when you have to wash your hair
We just talked about all the questions that linger in your head when you're seated in the hairdresser's chair, we now come to the point where you have to wash your hair. You try to dramatically postpone such a wash, but at some point, you're out of dry shampoo. Now, personally, I have nothing against a good long shower, but washing my hair is just a bit of a hassle for me. It takes a long time, I'm not in the mood, and I almost never finish the process neatly. It's all a hassle. You probably recognize yourself in this.
Why didn't I just use dry shampoo for another day and neatly wrap my hair in a bun?
If you want to. But that process has to stop at some point. You can't think that every day, because at some point, you look like a shriveled old lady with gray hair, your hair is super dry or super greasy, and it just doesn't work at all.
Music. Why didn't I turn that on?
Washing hair takes a long time. Massaging in shampoo, waiting, putting conditioner in your hair... Why on earth didn't you turn on a nice playlist ? Oh right, because you have shampoo in your ears and can't really hear anything.
Cold. Warm. Cold.
Just like the process in the hairdresser's chair. The temperature of the water is never quite right. Too hot, too cold, too hot. Big advantage: you're the one standing under the shower. Do something about it.
This is taking a long time...
Yes, because you're currently washing your hair. But then you have to dry it. And somewhere in between, there's that hair mask. And after drying, you have to blow-dry it dramatically long to get it back in shape and dry. So it's not a five-minute process, it's a long ordeal.
Soap in your eye
Why do children's shampoos always have the ingredient that prevents shampoo from stinging the eyes? And why isn't that added to regular shampoos? Nine times out of ten, it gets in your eyes and you walk out the door with red, stinging eyes.
Going through life with a hat on
That's also an option. Letting all of the above go and forever embracing the trend of the beanie or the floppy hat .
