THIS IS HOW YOU GET THAT PHONE OFF THE TABLE

Look, IKEA in Taiwan has had enough. No one sits at the table without a phone in their hand anymore. People are texting, snapping, taking photos, or just mindlessly scrolling. In other words: we are married to our phones and that needs to stop at some point. Especially when you're at the table. Nowadays, we forget that you can also just chat with each other in real life and that it's much more fun.

IKEA Taiwan therefore decided to invite guests for a hot pot (fondue of broth). And sure enough, the first thing the group did was play on their phones and take photos of the table. But that was a shame for the guests, because the hot pot only got warm if all the phones were placed on a plate under that large fondue pot. Ha! How clever is that. Check out the video below.

If every restaurant came up with something this clever, it might be a lot more enjoyable at the table.
