5X PROGRAMS YOU WANT TO FOLLOW THIS TV SEASON

Now that De Wereld Draait Door is back on the air, we know for sure: the new television season has begun. Schools are starting again, summer is making its last heatwaveconvulsions, and in a few weeks I will swap my daily glass of white (hello summer alcoholism) for a cup of green tea. And then we will lounge on the couch. Under a blanket.

And this is what we are going to watch:

The Next Boy/Girl Band

This idea from John de Mol is either going to be hilariously bad or incredibly fun. In this program, a girls' group and a boys' group compete against each other. Nick Schilder represents the men, John Ewbank the women. In the audition rounds, the participants are first judged on their dancing skills and appearance, and only then on their singing technique. Because yes, whether you can sing or not doesn't matter at all if you're in a group and good-looking. Yep, this is going to be a treat.

Starting Friday, August 26 (yes! Tonight) at 8:30 PM on SBS 6.

Flight HS13

For a number of very clear reasons: I love thrillers and Katja Schuurman and our lovely Marion has also written the series, together with Elle van Rijn. In Flight HS13, Katja Schuurman plays the role of the successful businesswoman Liv. Her life is turned upside down when the flight booked by her husband crashes on the way to Barcelona.

Starting September 4 at 8:25 PM on NPO3.

Dance Dance Dance

Last season I really enjoyed this, but Josselin and Lilian have now made me completely ecstatic. They were at the recordings and came back with this message: this program is the shit. And hello: Ferry Doedens is participating, I have to see this.

Starting September 3 at 8:00 PM on RTL4.

experienced Expedition Robinson

Speaks for itself. This program is always a party. Don't know all the contestants yet? Click then here for a moment, I'll catch you up.

Starting September 8 at 8:30 PM on RTL 5.

Westworld

Just a foreign excursion. But yes, what do you want, if I ask our translator Elke. Westworld is said to be (according to her and many others) the new Game of Thrones. Okay okay, now you have our attention…

Starting October 2 on HBO.
