Trend of the day

It may not be innovative, but it provides an instant summer feeling like no other: the floral print. Designers are once again putting their own spin on it this summer. For example, Mulberry and MSGM are leaving behind the sweet colors we are used to and it is precisely the warm shades that make it work. They are mainly bold floral prints in a typical 70s style. Meanwhile, Marc Jacobs is opting for a tropical flower and plant print.

Romantic florals are certainly not out of the picture. We see the delicate print in soft shades, among others, hopping by at Stella McCartney. Cute, sweet, and perfect for sultry summer evenings and chic garden parties. And last but not least: the mixed prints. In a cool twist, we see flowers increasingly appearing in the mix with another motif, as seen at Preen and Topshop. Credo: it's time to dress yourself in one of those wonderfully floral looks this weekend. Because with 30 degrees and sun, this is exactly what you need. Happy weekend!
