WHAT TO PACK FOR MILAN FASHION WEEK

We skipped New York and London once (a fashion person can't have it all), but Milan and Paris are ours. Tomorrow, Simone and I will board a plane to one of our favorite cities where we will stay in one of my favorite hotels: the Diana Majestic. Upon arrival, we can immediately brunch with the Milanese elite and then walk fifty meters down the street for the Dolce & Gabbana show. After that, Salvatore Ferragamo and Missoni are on the menu, and we will end the day with a bite and a drink at Corso Como 10. You understand; that calls for a few outfit changes.

Because I do have a lot, but not everything in my closet, I knocked on the door of PAUW. That store is dangerously tempting because the items hanging there are just too beautiful.

I rummaged through the Marni rack, grabbed everything from Odeeh, and bowed to Dries van Noten. A number of items are being couriered to me as we speak, so you will read the final result in my diary, but for now, here’s an overview of the items that made me quite happy.

With the top from Dries van Noten, it was love at first sight. He is still waiting for an asymmetrical golden Marni skirt, but that will be delivered to me later today.

The green-blue Odeeh top is also still waiting for its partner; a flowing, wide pant in the same print. Because more is simply more in Milan, this outfit will be topped off with an extravagant oversized coat from our Flemish friend Dries van Noten.

And from his hand is also the sequined sweater that I will mix with a leather pants from ArmA and a beautiful dark blue oversized coat from PAUW itself.

Now just hoping that my shoemaker is on time with re-heeling all the Pradas, Guccis, and Moschinos, and it won't be about the packages. Now just my head...
