WE GAAN NAAR PARIJS 2.0
Hello, girlfriends. A few months ago, I confessed with a blush on my cheeks here at the office that I was a Paris virgin . And yes, that turned out to be quite embarrassing. I have now realized that this was simply not okay. And yes, on ‘orders from the boss’ I had to head that way as soon as possible. Who did I think I was, for f*ck's sake. You understand, that trip was quickly booked, was absolutely fabulous (check it here) and then I could appear with my head back in the editorial office and received a picture from the teacher.
About the city itself, I could only babble this back then: Amazing/crazy cool/beautiful/trendy/terrace culture/even smoking is cool here
/women are beautiful and slim/waiters are rude/proud little people. Oh yes, and something with a lot of wine and Insta pics that can hardly go wrong. But actually, I already felt back then: I am here too briefly and definitely need to return soon. S'il vous plaît times ten.
‘Why do I do everything last minute when traveling? Help!’
That ‘quickly’ would be so quick, I just didn't know. Yes indeed: I have a second Parisienne trip planned. And it's the best one of the year: Paris Fashion Week. Drive me crazy. Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, eat your heart out, I’m on my way! Okay, almost. Tomorrow I’m leaving for the city of baguettes and luvvvv to keep you updated on all the Fashion Week scenes, drinks, and craziness. Yes, I know. Working in an editorial office like this can sometimes be very annoying. So prepare yourself for the coming days. Elke has already arrived yesterday to catch some shows and tomorrow I’m getting a flight to Paris with a sister. Now all that’s left for me is: preparing outfits, packing my suitcase (which is always a drama ) and giving a juice to all the electronic gadgets that need to be charged. Why do I always do everything last minute when traveling? Help. By the way, a small advantage: going to Paris for Fashion Week means legally checking in an extra suitcase with a thousand shoes for three days, you get that. Elke, we’re coming! À bientôt!
