Fashion dilemma of the week
Small but mighty
This looks best on you
I told you last week how you can rock fashion just like the models above 1.80 meters. And now I hear you thinking: what if I'm anything but tall? That's what I'm telling you this week. Because ’small but mighty’ is unfortunately not always the case. Especially not during a shopping day. Well, it doesn't have to be difficult anymore. I'm giving you clothing tips and tricks that will make that clothing struggle a thing of the past, and your outfit just as fabulous as Lady Gaga (1.53 m) and our favorite fashion sisters the Olsen twins (1.50 m) wear. Are you reading along?
Size zero
Try to look a little less strictly at clothing sizes; the length of sleeves or pant legs and the width of a garment are the most important. Sizes don't mean much if you don't have the standard clothing sizes as a shorty. And no one wonders what size is on your label when you walk in wearing your freshly shopped outfit, right?

Next stop
Take a look at the children's department: it may sound a bit childish, but it doesn't have to be the case at all. In fact, I'm secretly a bit jealous with my 1.75 meters. Children's clothing and shoes are much cheaper and more original. There's a small chance you'll run into your colleague in the hallway wearing that same little black dress. Besides the children's department, there are various brands that have a special ‘petite’ section. Think of Topshop, Asos, New Look, and H&M.
Away wide
Oversized blouses, tops, and sweaters shouldn't be a problem at all. Do you still feel like you're disappearing in them? Roll up the sleeves and tuck the front part of your top into your pants. Et voilà, this looks perfect. Having trouble with wide shoulders? That could be because you're using a hanger that's too wide to hang your clothes on. So invest in narrow hangers and you'll see that the problem resolves itself.

Crop it
A crop top is what you need. Wear your crop top with high-waisted jeans. This will make your legs look a lot longer right away. And just a bit about those pants: styles like flared and straight jeans are models that work well. The flared leg makes your legs look much longer, and so do you.
Up high
No matter how cliché it sounds: be especially happy with who you are. Fat, thin, short, or tall: wear clothes that make you feel the best. Because smiles are always in fashion. And just because you're a bit shorter doesn't mean you have to walk in heels all the time. Do you feel good in heels? Then this is the perfect solution for some extra centimeters. Whether you're a sneaker or heel fan, wearing shoes in the same color as your top makes you look visually taller. And that's always a nice bonus, right?
