The metallic lip is back

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post stating that I used to be totally under the influence of metallic eyeshadows and glitter on the cheeks and that I am so done with it now, but now I have to believe in it again. Of course, I'm not averse to a little glitter on the cheek or a glossy stick on the lip, but this is the summer trend. It's important that you are aware of it.

The metallic lip is absolutely back. Kylie Jenner I posted a photo on Instagram a while back with a touch of metallic and since then the trend has taken off. Suddenly we all see photos with such lips. Makeup brands are massively expanding their collections with lipsticks that have quite a shine.

Now you might be thinking: holy moly, what intensity. I get it. As a natural beauty, I also find it quite a thing. But you can easily combine it as an eyecatcher. Make it as crazy as you want, but keep the base really calm. Only then will the lip stand out well and only then do you really have a striking mouth.

Is it all a bit too much? Don't worry. You have the metallic also in brown tones, which allows you to still go a bit towards the nude side, but with a touch of metallic through it.

So. You know it: the metallic trend is back. Now we are of course still waiting for the waffle iron, the extremely thin plucked brow, and the line around the lip. Especially for the last one. In a metallic color please.
