WHAT'S HAPPENING? ALL MODELS SUDDENLY WEAR FUR

In the past, the uniform of top models was a faded jeans (preferably from Rag & Bone or Acne), a chelsea boot (because it's easy to run from casting to show and they don't really need the height of a heel), a white T-shirt, and a leather biker jacket.

This New York Fashion Week, it seems like suddenly all, well many models are pulling a fur coat out of the closet.

Given the temperature in New York, maybe it's not so crazy (it's freezing around ten degrees) and fur is of course in fashion, but it's an outfit that doesn't suit everyone's taste. The faux furs are so good these days that a passionate PETA member could easily mistake it for real and might still treat you to a bucket of paint over your extravagant outfit. And then you make a less favorable impression at your casting.
