Why I love Snapchat
AND ALL THE SNAPCHATTERS YOU MUST NOT MISS IN A ROW!
It may have brought founder Evan Spiegel Miranda Kerr, but it has certainly created a new addictive medium within the realm of indispensable online social media tools. I know that Amayzine’s HQ has a completely different opinion about this, but I am sold. Snapchat is the new Instagram. And I think that if you already showcase your vanity on Instagram and/or Twitter and/or Facebook several times a week or shamelessly play the voyeur, you should not skip Snapchat. It takes some figuring out how it works, which is underscored by the fact that “how does Snapchat work” is one of the most googled terms of 2015. But folks, it’s not hard! It’s fun. The few filters. Fun. The layers that turn you into a rainbow-spewing unicorn for a few seconds. Fun. Handwritten texts. Fun. And the best part is: everything is gone within 24 hours! I find it one of the most enjoyable communication tools to share my dissatisfaction about the cold, hangovers, fatigue, or drunkenness with my friend M. Without (mainly in the last case) the risk that it will haunt you forever.
Of course, I use Snapchat myself. Vanity drives me to post videos of where I walk, eat, walk with Blue, throw balls with Blue, and so on. But: I also love checking out the Snapchat stories of others. And that brings us to the core. The Snappers you must (yes, MUST) follow in a row. Especially for you from me. See you on Snapchat? Great. Until then!

Think: sleepover at grandma’s including curlers she calls Snapchat ‘snapshit’, drunk twerking beauty squad boys in the sea, and selfie-obsessed girlfriends. Nice and normal, but also completely not.
