Today it's going to happen. We're going to Disneyland. I really did strategically plan this to let my daughter swim through the hoop for her A diploma (if you don't have kids, you'll think of me later), but secretly I also just really wanted to have a day of Disney fun. But since a day is just a day, we made it a weekend. And bet that you'll also book in five minutes? 1. A different world

But right away. Every screw, street sign, light; really everything has been thought through and it works. You are immediately in a different world. And one that is much more beautiful, more magical than ours. Especially at this moment...

At 5:00 PM all your beloved Disney friends come by in the happiest parade you've ever seen. Singing along is allowed.

This summer (until mid-September) Disney has Frozen Summer Fun where Anna and Elsa go through the hits of Frozen with you in a sparkling carriage. I'm going to score so much with this at home. Really.

6. It's sooo good for your Insta feed.

Who doesn't get happy from Mickey ears and Elsa dresses? That's going to rake in followers, mark my words.

7. The best souvenirs.

When I'm in Paris or Milan for work, I always stop by the Disney store because that's where you get the best gifts. Here you'll find I don't know how many stores with the newest, best, and cutest from the Disney front.

8. It's car-free.

Sounds a bit bourgeois, but I'll talk to you again when you also have three adorable kids. Then you'll be happy about that. Just believe me. And without kids, it's also handy that you can run after Olaf (

like Liesbeth here) without worrying about passing traffic.9. Hotels in the park.

You can enjoy the last quieter hours in the park and be one of the first to enter again. Aladdin all alone for you...
