WHY YOU SHOULD EAT PROTEINS TO GET FIT

Open a health magazine, check the Instagram of a ‘fitty’ or a health site and they all talk about proteins. Lots of proteins keep you fit (or slim, however you want to call it).

If you train really hard, you need to pay extra attention to eating enough eggs (or other foods that are high in protein). Good against muscle soreness, but also very good for making your muscles stronger. Strong muscles ensure better fat burning. That's what you want, I assume?

What can you eat then?

The best way to get proteins is from food. Your body absorbs them better than dietary supplements. Think of a breakfast with oatmeal, cook an egg for your salad (or chickpeas) at lunch, and sauté spinach with your piece of chicken or salmon for dinner. I'm just giving a few examples. But proteins are also found in beans, chicken, steak, nuts, and quark.

That's how it is with a shake

You can also choose to take a protein powder. That's simply the easy way to get enough proteins. I think it's important to choose a brand with natural proteins, so read the labels carefully and if there are just a bit too many ingredients with names you've never heard of, you should really keep looking. Make sure to get some advice in a store.

Will you then become a bodybuilder? No. Those guys with huge muscles often take protein powder that contains ‘junk’. There are a lot of sugars and chemicals in it that can inflate your muscles.

So an extra egg a day can absolutely do no harm.
