WHY YOU WANT THE NEW INSTAGRAM UPDATE NOW

Normally, I find it really annoyingly irritating when my most important arm accessory (sorry bag) indicates that there are 12 new updates waiting. Every now and then, I make ‘the obligatory round’ only to find out that a: very little has happened or b: panic has broken out because the update suddenly turns out to be anything but chill.

Take the ‘new, shiny, updated 2.0 version’ of my email account, for example. Suddenly, my emails are SUPER confusing stacked on top of each other, and I miss all sorts of CC's, have to scroll a thousand times before I find an email back, and I don't know what's what. Email, WHYYY? And the misery is also: once you've dived into the update, there's of course no way back. Want to go back to your old familiar format? Too bad. There’s no way back. Quite criminal actually.

Butttt, we’re not just going to complain on this Monday evening. Not at all, girlfriends, because the new Instagram update actually makes me quite happy. And for the following reasons:
