11 reasons why you want to go to this shopping center

Sure, I love wandering through alleys and walking from one hidden address to another, but usually we don't have time for that and we want to smoothly buy that new Isabel Marant dress , immediately get your Jimmy Choos resoled and buy a few fish for tonight. Enter: the shopping center. This is my favorite and here's why.

1. Parking

All those groceries need to be easy to carry. Hilvertshof has a nice, spacious parking garage. Always a spot and you're really immediately in shopping paradise. With an elevator or escalator, so no hassle with steep stairs.

2. Kiddieland

Your ticket to at least an hour longer shopping. Your kids will have so much fun here that they won't even notice that you’ve quickly dived into Mango.

3. The golden trio

Mango, Zara, and H&M under one roof. Where do you find that? Here, of course.

4. Fish shop Volendam

I can really crave a good fish shop. Sometimes I can drive half an hour just for that. How convenient if you have one in your regular shopping center.

5. KIKO Milano

One of the coolest beauty brands out there. Not long ago and not available in the Netherlands, but here in Hilvertshof there’s a real store.

6. Happy and healthy

At Cappuccino Koffie Plein, you order the healthiest juices and vegan bites. But if you feel like a hearty latte and a crispy croissant, those are of course available too.

7. De Dirk

So hatsekiedee, you take those weekend groceries in one go.

8. Hakky

The saddest thing of all is when you walk around with such a worn-out heel. I always have a row of shoes waiting for and begging for a fresh sole. It never happens because my cobbler isn't around the corner. How convenient that there's a Hakky here. Bring them at the start of your session and pick them up at the end.

9. Wandering VIPs

I mean, you're in Hilversum, that's the L.A. of the Netherlands. I would say: spotting a celebrity should be possible.

10. ICI Paris XL

That's here too. And that's handy and nice.

11. Hilversum is so centrally located

If you're coming from the south and your friend from the north, you'll meet each other in Hilversum. Hilvertshof is within walking distance of the station and is therefore extremely easy to reach by car.

 
And when you're done shopping, there are at least eight nice restaurants nearby where you can enjoy drinks and food. I'm a fan, but you probably already figured that out.
