17 Things You Think When You Have to Refuel
You should have been in the car a quarter of an hour ago in the car but if it goes well, green wave and so on, it might just work out. But then you see a red light come on. And you hear a warning beep. The tank is almost empty. Then you think this.
- Okay, okay, okay. Why didn't I do that yesterday? I really saw it then and had more time.
- How long can you drive again when the light comes on? 100 kilometers or 50?
- 100 right? Right?
- I can manage that.
- They must have built in an extra safety net, right? That after the last warning, they surely add an extra shot of gasoline? I mean, they surely won't leave me here in the cold?
- I know women whose boyfriends fill up their car...
- There must be a gas station on this stretch, right?
- Do I actually have my card with me?
- In South Africa, I was really in trouble. There you can drive 150 kilometers without finding a gas station. But here, surely there is one? Right?
- Or should I just turn off here? There must be one in a village.
- How much time do I have left?
- Drive calmly, calmly, that helps.
- But then I will be late.
- Sigh.
- From now on, I will fill up every weekend.
- I will take it through the car wash right away.
- Satisfied.
