Victoria, what is going on?

Nowadays I love this woman. Way back in the Spice Girls era, I was fully team Baby Spice and Sporty Spice and didn't care much for Posh. Then when Beckham came into the picture, I found her medium too, but last summer, when I was in New York with May, I fell in love. We saw her backstage after her fashion show for an interview about the collaboration with Estée Lauder. She had intensely much self-mockery and humor and then I was sold. And she was also casually wearing a blouse with a oversized Marlene Dietrich-like pant and flat shoes (no joke), which immediately made me look for exactly the same outfit. I was in a ‘If Vicky wears it, so should I’ kind of vibe.

The era of super tight zebra suits with porn heels and Hervé Leger dresses is over. She swapped color for ‘you can never go wrong with’ black, white, and gray. The heels remained, but were finally also alternated with flat shoes. I mean, suddenly she was spotted everywhere in Adidas Stan Smiths (ha, Kiek, you and Vic could be friends) and now there is once again a change happening in Posh Spice's wardrobe.

Color: it’s back, baby. And how. No touch of color, nope, if your name is Victoria Beckham, then that change is bold and vibrant. Nowadays she rocks lime green pants that she matches with a bright orange sweater. Despite the fact that any other person would probably look like a clown in it, it just suits her. Then she was spotted again in the color orange (girl, you would do so well in the Netherlands) and suddenly it was Vicky again who was walking down the street in a blue flannel pajama. Okay, well made of silk and with her large sunglasses as a standard accessory, but I’m digging it.

My goal for this summer? I also want La Beckham's summer wardrobe. But then a slightly more affordable version.
