Rotterdam – BRAM’s Gourmet Frites
The tastiest fries come – according to the Rotterdammer – from BRAM’s Gourmet Frites. These chic fries are fried in an original pitch-black fry container. If you like to have a snack with your fries, you're out of luck here. At BRAM’s, no snacks, but ‘stews’ for over your fries. Pulled pork BBQ, Captain’s beef, Asian chicken stew or a vegetarian truffle mushroom or pumpkin veal stew; all developed with Rotterdam chef Herman den Blijker. I say: off to Rotterdam.
Amsterdam – Par Hasard

The Zeeland star chef Sergio Herman (the one from The Jane, yes) opened his first own fry shop in The Hague a year ago. Not long after, Utrecht was next. All the sauces that go on the chic fries are made by the chef himself, and there is also something for those who prefer a healthy option. At Frites Atelier, you can also enjoy a delicious salad, for example with quinoa and a shiso vinaigrette.
The Hague – Friet District
Star chef Niven Kunz from restaurant Niven in Rijswijk chose, like Sergio, to cook stars from the sky, but also to set up a simpler concept and therefore opened Friet District. Here he fries his own homemade organic fries every evening in clean fat and also serves twelve types of artisanal scoop ice cream.
