“I love 50s femininity, think Audrey, Jackie, and Grace. But I dress a bit tougher myself. The timelessness appeals to me.’
First job?
“In a flower shop. It was always cold, but I felt so cool with that weekend job at thirteen.”
Your favourite among shops?
“Matches Fashion, Net-A-Porter, Zara, and Pauw.”
What do you eat when calories are not a factor?
“Apple pie for breakfast, fries with stew for lunch, and a burger from The Butcher for dinner with apple pie afterwards.”

“…used drugs.”
Who do you swap wardrobes with à la minute?
“With Olivia Palermo.”
What do you do when you're home alone?
“I sit in a chair and listen to the silence, I can intensely enjoy that. It rarely happens.”
Your very first designer piece?
“Gucci boots. I bought them when I was seventeen on Via Monte Napoleone. I worked as a model in Milan and still remember how happy the seller was that I bought those boots so excitedly.”

Do you have a beauty secret?
“Connective tissue massage for your face. As if you've slept for eight hours.”
Who would you like to have coffee with?
“With Beyoncé and dancing, that too.”

“I bite my nails. For years I have made them artificially beautiful, but if one breaks, I still can't help it.”
Which item in your closet do you wear the most?
“My jeans and leather pants from Helmut Lang.”

“Wikipedia, a message from the Telegraaf that I caught my children watching naked women in my Mario Testino book, and a post about my new (spectacular even!) hairstyle on Libelle.nl.”

“That for the amount I paid for it, I should handle it a bit more carefully.”
What is on your bucket list?
“A few months of traveling with my family.”

“With Queen Elizabeth. I am so curious about that English court after seeing The Crown.”
