When I got a call asking if I wanted to ‘just’ go back and forth to Ibiza for a photo shoot, I almost didn't dare to tell my family... “You're only gone, come on!” my friends teased me. But luckily, I still have energy for three, and these are really the last-minute trips where I can spontaneously say ‘yes’. The island was still in a half-sleep state, but it was beautifully green and everywhere it was still nice and quiet. On my first free day, I drove straight to the Atzaró Spa: a place that insiders say you absolutely must not miss. And they didn't exaggerate: the resort is filled with beautiful orange trees, jasmine blossoms, and the most comfortable lounge beds you've ever seen. I treated myself to the mommy massage, and then enjoyed the view from such a lovely bed for the whole afternoon. Oh yes, don't forget the delicious lunch where you can choose from a variety of healthy dishes with super fresh ingredients. Have I made you jealous yet?

For the photo shoot, we traveled to “World Family Ibiza”, the most famous hippie store on the island, known for its unique items and the special family that runs everything. When we arrived, I was immediately hooked; there was a serene calm over the grounds, one of the stunning daughters brought in the perfect Ibiza/outfit herbal tea, and everywhere you looked, you saw colorful images that you immediately wanted to post on Instagram. The Dutch owner Merel immediately enchanted us with her beautiful appearance and sweet, charming character, and she designs all the clothing and accessories in the store herself, each with its own story. During the shoot, I couldn't help but sneak around the store, and in no time I spotted something I had really missed in my life (the shopaholics among you know this feeling...): a real Afghan vest, adorned with beautiful embroidery. Afterwards, with my beautiful new acquisition, I said goodbye to Merel, and for a moment I wished that hug would last forever: an energy flowed through my body that I rarely felt. I am sure: this spiritual place is truly enchanting.

The nice thing about my job is that I always get to work with makeup artists from whom I learn something: one has the tip for a fresh look (always curl your lashes) and the other comes with a miracle cream that makes your skin super soft after a long day of wearing makeup (Embryolisse). Even in Ibiza, makeup artist Bart came with an ultimate tip: the hair products from Jennifer Aniston's Living Proof. Silicone and paraben-free, plus all products contain the OFPMA molecule that creates a protective layer over your hair. Read: your hair stays clean longer! Especially now that I am pregnant, my hair gets greasy faster than normal, so I was over the moon with this discovery. I immediately noted all the products he used and even placed an order from Ibiza. I was as happy as a child when I found the package on the table upon my return home, and this morning I couldn't wait to use everything for the first time. I can tell you: after one wash, I was already addicted...

I will just be honest: I am an extreme Harry Potter fan. For book four, I stood in line at midnight to get a copy, I saw every movie on the day of release, and when the local candy store Smekkies sold all flavors, I biked by every week for a new supply. So when the invite for the Harry Potter Exhibition in Utrecht appeared in my email, my heart skipped a beat: I must and will go there! Luckily, my sister is just as much of a crazy fan as I am, so I quickly found a partner-in-crime for this excursion. Upon entering, we were immediately draped in scarves and wands and posed for pictures. Once inside, we didn't speak for the first few minutes and just stood there in awe, staring at all the costumes and props from all the films. At the end of the tour, we couldn't possibly leave the place without souvenirs: my sister bought the beautiful time-wasting necklace (the diehard fans know exactly what I'm talking about), and for old times’ sake, I took a pack of Smekkies in all flavors home. The Exhibition is still on display at CineMec in Utrecht until the end of June.
