Check out Mila and Ashton's new house

So there was a house in Carpintera. It is located between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara (where I experienced this) in. Just a bit away from the vips, a little more laid back, but still with the same ocean, the same beach, and the same prices. Approximately. Well, there, on Padaro Lane, Ashton and Mila bought a little place. Of 3100 square meters. For 10 million. And did I mention they paid cash? Well. They paid cash.

What I find a delightful detail is that in the realtor's advertisement, there was not a word mentioned about the house itself. Nothing about the six bedrooms, the six bathrooms, the extra guesthouse. The realtor only provided a description of the road leading there. The sea welcoming you, the sound of the waves, Padaro Lane making you forget the worries of your workweek. That kind of thing. As if anything on Padaro Lane is worth 10 million dollars, and maybe it is.

Ashton (worth 140 million dollars) and Mila (with 45 million dollars in the bank) bought this house laughing. They left their 90210 mansion and their celebrity neighbors Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Adele, and Nicole Kidman for new neighbors Kevin Costner and George Lucas.

Carpintera suits Ashton and Mila. A little less polished than LA, a bit more laid back, but still close to the studios and the sea. And how cool is this house. If you ever find yourself nearby, I know a lovely little restaurant. Recommended by a realtor there. The Padaro Beach Grill (with the slogan; where food and paradise collide – well, you know what that means), nothing fancy or posh, but with the best view and the best food. And a good chance of Ashton at the table next to you.
