Earlier I shared two favorite recipes from the brand new book of my absolute kitchen hero. But actually, really, the book is full of favorite recipes that I would love to share all with you. Take these sticky mango shrimp. Delicious for over your salad, on toast or just for snacking. Be sure to wash your hands afterwards. Enjoy your meal.
- 300 grams of large, raw unpeeled shrimp
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 full tbsp mango chutney
- 1 lime
- Clean the shrimp by removing the legs and tails and peel them. Leave the heads on, as they provide the flavor.
- Place a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Peel the garlic and slice it thinly and fry it in some olive oil until crispy.
- Place the garlic on a plate and set aside. Leave the oil in the pan.
- Stir the curry powder into the pan and add the shrimp.
- Also add the chutney to the pan and season with salt and pepper.
- Distribute the shrimp over the garlic, grate the lime zest over it and squeeze the lime juice out.
