gin festival

Two words that make me intensely happy: gin and festival. So you understand: combine those two and I’m in. Actually, I was supposed to attempt a second alcohol-free month this month (read here but how that went in January), but after day three I already failed (thank you Izakaya). And then suddenly a bottle of Rutte Celery Gin was delivered to the editorial office, which for some reason always ends up on my desk – I’m not complaining, keep them coming. And with that bottle, an invite for the Gin Festival. So, calendars at the ready? Mark May 19 and 20, because then you, as a gin lover, can be found in Amsterdam.

 
After a sold-out and successful first edition, there will be a second edition this year with an even larger selection of gin, tonic, vermouth, and jenever at the Undercurrent. And okay, if you’re not really into gin: no problem. With a total of sixty stands this year, there will definitely be beer, wine, and tequila (olé) available as well. Tickets are here available, so all that’s left to say is: shall we toast together on the 19th and 20th? Come on, I think it’s fun. Cheers.
