These boots are made for walking…

Exactly a week ago, it happened to me. Or better said: it happened to me. The sale started and before I knew it, I was scrolling like an obsessed fashion victim for hours through our favorite designer webshops. From the bag sale at MyTheresa, the best basics at Bijenkorf to the shoe sale at Net-A-Porter: I was quite pleased. And then it happened. There they were: my boots. Well, not my boots, because I was only dreaming of them. To be precise, from the moment I walked into the Saint Laurent store in Milan. I fell in love there with my bag and the corresponding boots. Choice stress was at hand, but in the end, it was the bag that stole my heart. Still, deep down, I found it hard to say goodbye to the boots. Anyway, you can't have everything in life and whistling, I walked out of the YSL store with my new acquisition.

The boots from Milan, there they were with a big fat ‘SALE’ printed on their handsome leather noses. 40%, but don't get me wrong; still far from a bargain. Every day I checked if the boots were still there. Until Wednesday. Low in stock: panic. Suddenly I knew it: these are the boots I have wanted for so long, I can now check them out for almost half the price. I'm doing it. I'm doing it. I'M-DOING-IT-NOW. And from that moment on, minutes felt like hours and days felt like years. I have never refreshed the DHL site so often. Patience is a virtue, but it was so incredibly worth it.
