Golden gift

When we received golden plates from &Klevering at the editorial office, I hid them in the cupboard. I found them so beautiful that no one was allowed to eat from them. The damage has now been done, as I just saw May enjoying a cracker from a golden plate. Thank goodness it looked chic, that softens the blow.

Since those plates, I have become addicted to &Klevering. Whenever I walk into a random Bijenkorf, I immediately head to the home department for &Klevering via the shoes and bags. I think the brand is cool, I think the name is cool, I think the ampersand is cool. I think you get it. That's why I'm feeling green with envy today, because you can win something from, yes, &Klevering. Damn, I would have liked that too. It's a candlestick disguised as a palm, a golden palm, and then times two. I briefly thought it couldn't get any better, but I thought that too soon. Because there were also two cushions, with the same golden palm trees, which seemed to match. Of course, they did. Toi toi toi, may the best one win.
