The sweetest festival tip
Dancing outside until late at night is perhaps one of the absolute best things about summer. Then I feel extra, EXTRA free. Yes, I’m repeating myself. My beloved won’t come to a festival, even though he’s into the musical genre, but my girlfriends immediately get into the mood. Such a day is for me one big smile with a bow around it. A gift.
On August 12, I get to unwrap another one, Loveland Festival to be exact. So I’m bizarrely bad at name-dropping when it comes to DJs, but I’ve been told that the line-up is impressive. Oh yes, more advantages… It’s in Sloterpark, which is pretty much in the backyard for Amsterdammers and easily accessible for the rest of the Netherlands by ooo-veee or driver (the latter, in my case). It starts around noon and ends at bedtime for kids, very convenient for us old folks (if we make it). You can also immediately book accommodation for the night after. Look, all neatly arranged.
But the absolute biggest advantage (yes, here I go again) is that you get to dance for a veeeery long day. With your dearest girlfriends. And okay, toasting is also allowed.
