Hello hip house

“Let’s go inside for just a moment,” I shouted to my friends. I went home with two white vases with a brique pattern, seven cushions in a variety of colors, a light pink candle holder, eight smaller white candles, gray wrapping paper with white stars, two types of gift bags, ribbon to brighten things up, ten stackable spice jars, and a lamp with a white stone base. My friends contributed a side table, twenty-four candles (yes, twenty-four), a cute wall shelf, a round rack, a gold cutlery set, some more vases, also for storing candles, and tea towels. We nearly emptied the Søstrene Grene. And I didn’t know the Søstrene Grene yet, but it was an intimate first meeting, even though I can’t pronounce the name.

Maybe you remember, but I moved house in May. In one day, we packed all our belongings into the new condo, and I haven’t bought a picture frame since. Our new home had to make do with old stuff. Quite nice, really, but I usually pamper my house with an upgrade every season. If, like me, you had no clue about the existence of these sisters from Denmark; you’re welcome. I saw from the faces of your editors that I was hopelessly out of touch again, because they already knew about this a long time ago. Moral of the story: buy something cute for your home every now and then. something cute for your home. At ‘sjustre-nog-watte’ for example, because the quality is nice for a song and a dance. But really, even though I’m hopelessly behind again, I didn’t want to keep that tip from you. And my house either, because they do quite well together.
