My love

The Amayzine Paris Issue you have of course already flipped through from front to back and from left to right. You admired the coolest off-duty models, inhaled the perfect dose of reading material, and you stepped into your favorite Renault with the editors heading towards Paris. At least, with our travel diary, we tried to take you along as much as possible on our road trip to Paris.
Yes, I'm talking about the Paris Pour Tous shoot, and besides racing around in the Renault Twingo, I also did the styling for this photoshoot. Not that your editors necessarily needed that, because don't get me wrong, if someone inspires me, it's May for sure. And Kiki. And Every. And Simone. Anyway, the styling. I provided extra cool designer shoes, French brands, and jewelry for the perfect Parisienne vibe. I shopped the coolest items together and we were ready to go. At least, almost ready to go, because at the very last moment I ended up in the webshop of my friends Wouters & Hendrix. They had an ‘Amour’ collection, and it had to come with us. One little thing: it was too short notice to have it shipped to Pilotenstraat, so the jewelry would plan their own road trip to Paris.

Small detail: our beautiful jewelry never arrived in Paris. And hey, that's okay, because Paris is a busy city and thank god they were just a little lost and not missing. I was secretly a bit disappointed, of course. ‘Next time better,’ said May, with a big fat wink. And that next time was definitely better. Because this week I came to the office and the well-known ‘My Favourites’ jewelry box was on my desk. ‘With lots of love from May, because we all made such a beautiful magazine together.’ My heart skipped a beat. Not only because I think this bracelet is so cool or because our magazine indeed turned out to be the most beautiful, but especially because of May. Because this is nothing but love amour!
