Oh Christmas tree

As you all know, I am a huge summer person. But what I really enjoy about the winter months are the cuddle moments with my love by the fireplace, oh no I don't have that, steaming cups of glühwein, coming home cold and stepping into a warm bath, oh no, I don't have that either, and the smell of pine needles in the month of December. And that last one, I want to talk to you about. Because that smell automatically links me to my second home: America, where Christmas starts the day after Thanksgiving (read all about it here) and you are already tired of the Christmas songs before the holidays even begin. But that smell, it will never get old and I could enjoy it 365 days a year. Ideally, I would shower in it, slather myself with it, wash my sheets with it, and spray my bedding with it. This is about the Old Pine, or pine needles. Of course, you could already buy a Christmas tree and stick your nose in it every day, but you could also bring home the intensely delicious Pine & Eucalyptus diffuser from Jo Malone. And if I were you, I would go for the latter. Can I also have the fireplace on then? Oh no, I don't have that either.
