SUMMER READY

Actually, I never buy sunglasses because I have the coolest vintage Ray-Ban that ever belonged to my father. But well, sometimes a person is ready for some variation on the face and here I am on a slightly tipsy Sunday with friends on my only other pair of sunglasses sitting down... Yes, then you can treat yourself to a new one, right? So off to the Ace & Tate store I went. By the way, it’s always super busy there, which I totally understand, because if you’re looking for cool and hip, then you’re at the right place.
I set my eyes on the Kat model in the color Cosmic Love. But what turns out? I wasn’t the only one, because it was completely sold out in the store. ‘But it’s still available online,’ said the nice salesperson in the 9 Streets. I just wanted it then and there. I’m a disaster at online shopping because I’m as impatient as they come, so if they didn’t have the sunglasses, then no sunglasses it is. But oh god, then the sun keeps shining and you have to constantly think about it. Fine, let’s just take a quick look online. And right into my online cart. And checked out. And yes, two days later it was already there. This kid is a happy camper. I’m so glad they expect it to be twenty degrees today in Amsterdam. Hello sunshine, I love you.
