the richest celebs in the world

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of having coffee with one of the richest ladies in America: Jackie Spiegel, also known as The Queen of Versailles. Do you all remember her from the 2012 documentary where she has the most expensive house in America built for a hundred million? Insane indeed, but more on that later in the week. What I want to talk about this Tuesday morning is the freshly released new Forbes list of the richest people and in particular the richest celebrities.

 
I did not see the absolute richest coming, because you hardly hear anything from him anymore, but this good man is worth about 130 million dollars. It’s Sean Combs, better known as P. Diddy or Puff Daddy. Yes, I also briefly forgot that he was still around. After him, worth about 105 million dollars, is another Queen. This time Queen B Beyoncé. Husband Jay Z is found in 55th place on the list, with an estimated net worth of 42 million dollars, so it’s clear who the real breadwinner is in the Bey & Jay household.

 
The youngest celebrity on this list, how could it be otherwise, is part of the Kardashian/Jenner family and is young Kylie Jenner who at nineteen is in 59th place with 41 million dollars in the bank. Pfff, when I was that age, I struggled to make something with two zeros, but this lady has just six. There has to be a difference, I guess.

 
One place behind Kylie, sharing 60th place with Bruno Mars, is also just a spot for one of our own: Tiësto with 39 million dollars in his bank account. Nice going, Tijs!
