De Emmy Awards 2017
All the glam squads were ready again yesterday in Los Angeles for the 69th edition of the award show that might be the most important for all you binge-watchers: The Emmys. And of course, you probably want to know who won what. I'll get back to that in a moment. But honestly, what we love to see is of course the good, the bad, and the ugly. And no, I'm not talking about the Clint Eastwood classic. It’s all about the outfits, baby.
So first, a quick summary of the main winners:
– Nicole Kidman went home with an Emmy for her role in Big Little Lies (read our suggestions here)? I'm meanwhile scrolling through the first of the Monate like an addict through Elkes Nieuwsflix, but nothing, zip, nada. Even Netflix is acting suspicious... Quiet then. I want a sequel to my favorite and I want it now. But with a chronic shortage and the absence of rattling conversations, why you want to see it if you haven't followed it yet), together with Alexander Skarsgård who plays her husband in the series. And not only those two were a hit, the series itself also won an Emmy in the category Outstanding Limited Series.
– Donald Glover won an Emmy for his role in the comedy Atlanta, which I have never seen in my life, but is now immediately on my must-watch list.
– I have also written about the HBO hit series This Is Us and rightly so, actor Sterling K. Brown won an award for his role as well.
– The Handmaid’s Tale won an Emmy for Best Drama Series and also actress Elisabeth Moss who plays the role of Offred in it, so yes, this is also now on my must-watch list.
– And then the man who can win all the awards in the world for his portrayal of Donald Trump: Alec Baldwin, who won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his work on Saturday Night Live last night. #winning.
Nice. And now it's time for the looks:
