From supermodel to author

Jack of all trades, that Cara Delevingne. Once a household name thanks to her big (jealous-inducing) brows and pretty face. Then she also made her debut as an actress in Paper Towns, starred alongside Will Smith in Suicide Squad, and shaved her head this summer for a role in the film Life in a Year where she plays a young cancer patient. She fights for women's rights, was part of the I’m not a Trophy campaign against poaching, does a lot of work for Syrian refugees with UNHCR and she supports the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity which is dedicated to cancer healing. Anyway, this girl is golden.

But there’s more, she has just completed a new project: her very first book Mirror Mirror. Cara has always been very open and honest about her struggles with depression and sexuality when she was a teenager. Growing up in the current era where everyone has an opinion about you and shares it (good or bad) is tricky. With Mirror Mirror, she shares all her own experiences in the hope of helping other teenagers who are going through the same – whether they are in the spotlight or not.

Available in the Netherlands from the end of the month. For now: the word is yours, Cara.
