From Milano to oui oui Paris
The fashion month is almost over, but hey, with a big fat emphasis on almost. Because this week it’s still Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, Chloé, Balmain, Rick Owens, Isabel Marant, Christian Dior, Acne Studios, Vivienne Westwood and just now Balenciaga that make our fashion hearts beat faster. And where we have followed our favorite Dutchies from the Big Apple via London to Milan, it’s now time for the last stop: Paris. From a dance with The Weeknd with Birgit, a champagne-sipping Jessie Bloemendaal on the motorcycle heading to Balmain to the Vogue Paris Instagram takeover by Luca. How did the fashion circus look this week through the eyes of the Dutchies? Well, like this:
Bonjour Paris, Jessie Bloemendaal is so ready for you. With leather on Tuesday at Saint Laurent as the first show. And off we go, with champagne on the motorcycle to the next fashion party. From white lips and lots of ruffles at Maison Margiela, her favorite looks at Chloé, Fifty shades of grey at Paco Rabanne, patches at Balmain to an opening dance at Rochas on the catwalk; Jessie, is there even a show you’re skipping this month? The coolness.
From Milan to Paris? Of course, Marjan Jonkman is in attendance. Where in Milan her tartan jacket was replaced by Missoni, Versace and Sportmax, in Paris it’s Chloé and Dries Van Noten that she walks the catwalk in, and where she celebrates her hundredth (!!!!) fashion show quite well.
How did Julie Hoomans start PFW? On the catwalk of Olivier Theyskens, only to transform into a jumpsuit from Chloé. And with all that racing back and forth, of course, there’s a ‘model-off-duty-on-her-way-pic’. Next stop? I guess Balenciaga this afternoon. Or maybe Céline?
It’s time to wake up. Goodbye Milan Fashion Week, bonjour Paris. And hello Vogue Paris. A pretty cozy takeover with Luna Bijl is the Instagram situation. Next catwalk stop: H&M Studio with a wink from Nicki Minaj. Thursday morning we still see her at Chloé.
From Milan to Paris; just a quick farewell kiss from her model man Jonas and Kiki is ready to take off! Whether it’s a checked suit at Paco Rabanne or a floral playsuit at Chloé; everything looks stunning on Kiki Willems. You go, girl.
From Missoni in Milan quickly into the plane to Paris. Birgit Kos steps onto the catwalk at Anthony Vaccarello on Tuesday morning to then dance with The Weeknd at the H&M Studio show. There’s no time for a hangover, because on Thursday morning she opens the show of Chloé. Birgit, we are fans of you!
