You should know that our brand new editor is the type that modestly proclaims that photos are not ‘really her thing’, but secretly always looks super cool in them. That’s also how I see Lil, with that cool cap. These kinds of girls were The Cool Kids at my school (are you also hearing that song now: “I wish that I could be like the cool kids, ‘cause all the cool kids, they seem to fit in”? I am.).

Lil sits next to me every day and is my yodel queen (inside joke, something with Gerard Joling, WOEHA) and my new pony partner in crime who always looks flawless. She comes in just a bit late every morning, because yes, traffic jam, often with her faux fur jacket, a flared jeans and her Drew bag from Chloé. With eyelashes so long and hair so beautifully curled that you wonder if she just came from the hairdresser. I still haven’t completely figured out the secret, I believe.

Then on to the order of the day. The brand gala. The nice ‘Darling’ sweater is from Zoe Karssen, the flared jeans are from Denham and she borrowed the Chanel bag from May’s desk. I get it. From below you can sketch Lil in her black Isabel Marant wedges and today she even has something on top: the cap she bought during the last Fashion Week season at a market in London. Totally cool.
