It is January 25 and suddenly our very first Amayzine Runway Issue is in stores #tss #wiehemheteerstheeft. You celebrate our magazine with no less than 130 handwritten cards during the Amayzine Look of the Year Awards. #watdoeikmezelfaan #maarzóleuk and a lot of dances to ‘Jodge Me Niet’. 2017, you are already a party in Pilotenstraat. And, May, you understand: my card is still shining at home on the shelf.

In February, you board the plane to Paris, you know, the city of Mademoiselle Oiseau and the quiche with crust, where not long after we step into our Renaults with team Amayzine for round 2. Yes, #amayzinerenaultroadtrip is a fact, resulting in our second magazine in May with the theme... Paris. And that also needs to be celebrated again. In our case with a French pony at the hairdresser. #welkombijdeponyclub

In July, the Amayzine posse moves to Quartier sur Mer... #warmdagje #alsdiebuienmaarwegblijven. The nicest spot by the sea, May's beach house on Wijk aan Zee beach to be precise, where the whole summer is mainly lived on liquid food. At least by May. This summer we actually went together on our braces adventure and believe me: a detox cure is really never anything compared to that. We send each other the most unflattering braces selfies and get #diedikkelip for free.

#bydanieamayzinemoscow is the situation in November, after which not long after, on December 7, we kick off your favorite the December marathon with Sinderkerst #kurkvandefles. A week later, I plop down on your couch with your sweetest girls Flo, Bel, and Iggy, where I can borrow #debesteknuffelsvanhaarlem for a moment. And last but not least, we celebrate our first Mercurs nomination at the DeLaMar Theater on December 14.

And now, now it is the 31st, the very last day of the year. In a dress by Claes Iversen so beautiful (you would almost get married in it) and with your IWC Portofino watch on your wrist, I actually want to say just one thing: dear May, thank you. You are Amayzine. And that is so much more than a throwback from our Instagram timeline or the name of the company I work for. That is L.O.V.E.
