Milano's hotspots

These are the new favorite spots of Elke and Lil

Between the most beautiful catwalk creations and the coolest models off-duty Elke and I are also incredibly busy sipping the best cappuccinos and our search for the absolute best pizzas and pastas of Milano-modeland. Because sure, a new Gucci dress is nice, but of course, we don't want to find out later that we can't fit into it. No, okay, all jokes aside. We've gathered the best hotspots for you. So don’t be upsetti, eat some extra spaghetti, okay, and buy a designer piece.

Bar Luce

Just because the bar is designed by Wes Anderson and because we spotted one of our favorite fashion girls, Rocky Barnes, there yesterday. Whether it's the pastel colors or the retro-like design, the coffee here is to lick your milk mustache off. Oh, and once outside, the gold-colored wall of the Fondazione Prada is anything but to be missed. Hereby: I insist you take an Instagram photo!

Mimmo Milano

A tip from May and we now understand why. Restaurant Mimmo not only has the coolest terrace and a super nice menu, but it is also incredibly Fashion Week-worthy when you suddenly recognize the location of Chiara Ferragni's 30th birthday party thanks to the interior. Just like we were there, right, Elk? Something about being one handshake away from the Instagram queen.

Panini Durini

In the category of the cutest coffee to-go cups and the tastiest cheesecake, we discovered Panini Durini, or rather, the Milanese discovered it for us. Once on the terrace, you spot everything but tourists; here you find the real coffee lovers. And let's not forget the cake eaters.

Marghe

In Italy, you eat the very best pizzas and pastas, and if we are to believe the Milanese, Marghe is where you need to be. And as I said before: Elke and I are not the hardest to please, so your test panel has been there. And indeed: You. Must. Be. Here.

Orsonero Coffee

For the most special coffee, you are at the best address at Orsonero Coffee. And, for a very Instagrammable shot as well. Oh, and take (if possible) the time for a sandwich, because in this coffee shop they bake their sandwiches themselves. You can imagine that delicious smell. Mmm...

Fashion Week or not, plenty of reasons to get on a plane to Milan. Ciao bella!
