Moeders kleine helper

Recently, I heard a woman (a parenting expert, mind you) on TV say that she was late buying Sinterklaas gifts because it was so busy everywhere and everything was sold out in all the stores. It surprised me. I am always prepared for everything and have everything in the house on time. Or rather, at the office. Not that I have the highest degree in running a household or anything, I just know where to go. At Bol.com. They have everything, from children's gifts to the exclusive perfumes from Lancôme (which you can only buy in the perfume store). They even have (what a relief that is) prefab surprises where you only have to stick the loose parts together. My friend with four children bought that immediately.

For Christmas, my digital cart is already full. To think outside this digital box for once, I am going to order a game this year. FIFA 18 to be precise. I'm a bit done with always criticizing ‘those gaming kids’, so I thought (‘if you can’t beat them, join them’): I’ll just join in.

Now don’t be startled and think that you don’t understand this. There is a very nice and clear instructional video by Koen Weijland (that’s a serious gentleman in the gaming world and multiple FIFA champion) explaining to a mother how to play the game. This is definitely going to be a successful Christmas. Because your gifts are on time, you had no shopping stress, you bought something they will really be happy with, and moreover, you have a Christmas where you are really doing something together. Soon you will also go for that forest walk with the whole family. It can't get any better than this.
