So many percent of men are bothered by body hair down under

We shave ourselves all year round but it's a disaster, because somewhere a stubble = eww, yuck, oh my god no.

With a beard punani or a real bush under the arms, we won't get through the day nicely. And our legs are also shaved more often than not. Before we get dressed, we are therefore busy with depilatory cream, shaving foam, and all sorts of pink, expensive, promising razors. But is it really necessary? As in: do men find those hairs here and there annoying?

Certainly half of all women shave everything down there and 39 percent just tidies up occasionally, but leaves some hair. There are very few who do nothing about their wild growth. Men actually don't mind that: they have more trouble with armpit hair than with pubic hair, it turns out. We seem to listen to that en masse, because at least 96 percent of women shave their armpits. But also 10 percent definitely do not.

We also vigorously wax and epilate our legs, but this seems to be less important. A man could hardly care whether you have a hair or two there: 90 percent of men don't mind if your shins aren't perfectly smooth. In fact: he hardly notices it. Men, huh. And furthermore, no one cares, believe us. Bet that your friends have never noticed whether or not you shave your legs daily? Long live winter with its long pants weather.

Women are especially bothered by back hair in their partner – pubic hair or armpit hair doesn't bother us at all. Number two on the list of annoying body hair for men is unkempt eyebrows. Those real branches sticking out, brrr. After the back, this is a real obstacle for us women. Men themselves find butt hair not done and pay less attention to their back or eyebrows. Oh, just lend your tweezers once in a while and before you know it, he won't want it any other way.

And don't worry if you once again spread your legs and you haven't shaved that morning. He really doesn't pay attention during you know what. Thank god. That saves a lot of bumps, stubble, and red spots. And pink, expensive razors. Hooray.

FACTS

  • We spend about a hundred euros a year on razors.
  • As you get older, you get more hair growth. In those places where you don't want it, of course.
  • Myth: your hair does not grow back darker or faster if you shave it. Nice. Now you know that too. Waxing buuuut, that lip.
