Humberto breaks his silence
Keeping his lips tightly sealed seemed to Humberto the best defense. The gossip press, which according to him is ‘so focused on destruction’, doesn't even give him the chance. But it didn't help at all. He was devoured by the mill called showbiz. During the silly season, he got a lot of dirt thrown at him, man, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
Now Humberto speaks for the first time. Not about his alleged affair with NOS presenter Dionne Stax, but about his home situation. “Lately… let me not beat around the bush. It’s not a fun period. A lot of fuss. A lot of publicity,” he says in a conversation with Wendy Magazine. “I took a risk by saying nothing. I knew: it would only get worse, then they would fill it in. The price I’m paying now is quite high. Some people think I’m a jerk now. That hurts.”
Do we know more about the situation now? Mwah, not really. Although he does say this: “I didn’t handle it well either. But I still believe, it’s private.” And maybe he’s just right about that. Will we see him back on RTL Late Night soon? Absolutely. After a summer of recharging in Croatia the presenter is completely ready for it again in September. “I feel like I’m up for it, bring it on.”
Go get them, Tannie.
