Just a little more about Loiza

All of the Netherlands was captivated yesterday by the intense news surrounding Loiza. Fortunately, today comes the Instagram post that we all secretly hoped for: she has no lasting damage from the stroke.

“Good morning dear followers, after all the intense messages in the media, I want to let you know that I am doing much better,” she writes on Insta. “I am currently at home and I am very grateful that I have not suffered any lasting damage. I am still very tired but fortunately, I am surrounded by my dear family and friends.”

What exactly was going on? Initially, the winner of Holland’s Next Top Model 2015 had a numb area on one side of her face, the permanence of which was unclear. On Monday, she lost consciousness and was urgently admitted to the hospital in Arnhem.

“Hopefully, I will soon be a bit like my old self again and look just like I do in this photo! Your loving messages give me strength and I want to thank you for that.” Dear Loiza, you scared us all, but thank god you are doing well.
