OUR GIRL IN NEW YORK
We were in Brooklyn all weekend. It felt like spring. Without a coat, we walked with Blue past all the brunch and lunch spots that had opened all possible windows and doors to the spring-like temperature. Laughter, clinking glasses, and knives and forks softly scratching the plates could be heard. This time we had lunch at Witlof. We got coffee at Jane. And for the rest, we had a wonderfully quiet weekend. Peace, regularity, and cleanliness. And nothing else for a while.
At While We Were Young, everything on the left side is pink. Everything on the right side is baby blue. And in between, there are roses, romantic candles flickering, and all in all, it’s a perfect picture. The cocktails are just as sweet as the rest of the whole. And the hand-cut fries are extremely tasty. I’ll skip that cocktail due to my RRR diet, but not the fries, of course.
With hundreds of roses, candles, and a table styled with the sweetest candy and cupcakes, you would almost forget that you are here for Aerin's new perfume. In her office on Madison Ave, right by Central Park, we are, as always, warmly welcomed and immersed in splendor. Her new line is inspired by flowers from far and near. My favorite is definitely the Linen Rose. Almost in the store, and I will quickly provide an extensive report about it on Amayzine.
And then the week was already over. Just one more sip of coffee this early morning and then sleep in tomorrow. Have a wonderful weekend!
