The tide has turned. I was completely out of it for a while. We moved to Brooklyn at Christmas. There was a lot of snow. It was freezing cold. There was no inspiration. Then slowly the sun broke through again, gradually melting the thick layers of ice from the streets. The new year with a wedding that was now really almost due. There was love. There was so much love. So much magic. So much ‘I can't believe this’. So much of all that beauty, which made the need to keep grabbing that camera to capture an outfit still disappear. The photos still remained unmade. But the tide has turned. Because honestly, just sitting at home and waiting for another trip, another wedding, or a weekend away to come around is not for me. I was hitting the walls, bored to death. Had all sorts of plans, but they didn't come to fruition. Until suddenly everything fell into place. There is a new photographer. A new plan. A mountain of photos. And that, that is so nice.

With Lizzy, Victoria, and Blue, we have lunch at Sant Ambroeis. Afterwards, we walk through SoHo. And then there was Negin! So sweet, this woman, and of course completely in love with my woolly child.

Back in my old neighborhood and still in love with this logo.

Until next week!
